The “Privateer Yacht Club” is offering for the First Time, this Opportunity!
Our Club Vessel:
Everything about her is “Special." Unique may be a better term!  Our “Privateer” is a highly customized yet Traditional Nimble Sailing Yawl / Cutter. 

At 32 feet overall, she is a double-ender, hard chinned vessel with an outboard spade rudder giving her about 27 feet of waterline.  Every component on this over-nighters’ vessel is brand new or has been either highly modified and or replaced!  She has a “forest green” fiberglass hull that has been Awl griped and bottom painted.


She carries her own generator, located on the aft “poop Taft-Railed deck, air conditioning and refrigeration for comfortable weekends on the hook.  She has a super quite new Honda 15 horsepower four stroke engine located in a well within the ample cockpit and not outboard.   With the owner designed and fabricated custom “dog house main cabin hatch” has standing headroom in its main cabin – yet with her unique hull and weighted hydrodynamic skeg – one can sail her in a “puddle”, as she only draws 18 inches of water!

The best part of this vessel other than being a sight to behold and immensely manageable is that her masts set in a tabernacle and thus she is easily trailer able – so one can tow her by vehicle to almost any sailing destination. 

This partnership will consist of only ten {10} units.  Each unit will have up to five {5} weeks sailing use of the Privateer. The cost of insurance, upkeep, maintenance and storage of our “Privateer” will be split equally between the units or only be equal to one tenth or 10% of the basic insurance, upkeep, maintenance and storage annual costs.   Cost of each unit of ownership is only a modest one time payment of $5,000.00!   We, as the general partners will maintain the “Privateer” and its trailer at its home port here in Jupiter.   If a limited partner wishes to have the vessel towed to a “reasonable” location for their period of use, we will arrange to have that service provided at a reasonable fee or the limited partner may do this themselves.  On every occasion, our “Privateer” must be returned in the same condition – as when it leaves its home port or a labor and or service fee for any extraordinary cleaning and or repair, if need be will be assessed to the partner who is responsible for any damage that may arise out of “limited partner” operator negligence or neglect.

Our new web site: privateeryacth.com is now under construction.  The “Privateer” is the first vessel to be placed into service and to be offered to our first ten {10} members.   Additional fun  unique, and yes - classic vessels will be added to this fleet, as demand increases for our unique waterfront access opportunities.  Our next vessel currently undergoing a keel up rebuild is a 103 year old Stephen’s Raised Deck Motor Launch named the “legend”  pictured below:

Each of our exclusive ten members of The “Privateer” Club will be offered first rights of refusal to also own and have access, use and an ownership position in this unique piece of floating maritime history.
